Terms of Use

1. General

These Terms of Use are a public contract (offer) under Articles 633 and 641 of the Civil Code of Ukraine and govern use of the QRcode Global website (qrcode.global). Using the free generator without an account is acceptance of these Terms for the free service. Creating an account, registering or signing in (email and password, Google or Microsoft) is not by itself agreement to these Terms and does not open the dashboard or payment. The dashboard (including paid features) is provided only after a separate direct agreement in the window after sign-in: the user ticks “I agree” after being able to read these Terms and the privacy policy. Without that direct agreement, the dashboard and payment are unavailable: payment is not offered, not accepted and not processed. If you choose “I do not agree”, the dashboard does not open and payment is not processed; the account is not deleted or blocked. You may give direct agreement later at any time by opening the dashboard again. If you do not agree, do not use the site, do not register, do not sign in and do not pay. The provider is a registered sole proprietor (фізична особа — підприємець): Stepanchuk Oleksandr Mykhailovych (the “Provider”). The service is provided under the trade name (brand) QRcode Global.

2. Description of the service

QR codes from the QRcode Global service include scan-count tracking and other analytics tools. A newly created QR code without an account is free for 20 days. Moving that code into the dashboard (account) free of charge adds another 20 days on top of the time left (remaining + 20 days). A QR code created in the dashboard is free for 30 days (up to 3 codes without a tariff plan). Paid services — tariff plans (monthly or yearly; the yearly plan is 25% cheaper than twelve monthly payments) and a one-time 1-year extension of a single QR code — are available only to a registered user in the dashboard. Late renewal after a QR code is deleted is not supported.

3. Accounts

Free use of the site without an account does not require registration: each guest dynamic QR code is valid for 20 days, and moving it into an account adds another 20 days free of charge. Paid services (a tariff plan or a one-time 1-year QR extension) are provided exclusively to a person who has registered an account (email and password) or signed in with Google or Microsoft and uses the dashboard. Without that registration / sign-in, payment is neither offered nor processed.

Using the free generator without an account constitutes acceptance of these Terms as currently published for the free service. Registration and sign-in are not acceptance. For an account, acceptance is recorded only by direct agreement (the “I agree” tick) in the window after sign-in — covering these Terms and the privacy policy. By ticking “I agree”, the user also agrees to this electronic delivery format into the dashboard (section 5) and accepts QRcode Global’s services in that form. The date, edition number and technical details of that agreement are stored on the account. Without direct agreement the dashboard and payment are unavailable. Refusing the tick does not delete or block the account and does not open the dashboard; you can agree later. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Payment and currency

Who may pay. The public part of the site (the homepage and other pages without signing in) is a free QR-code tool and is not a shopfront, catalogue or public price list. Paid services are provided exclusively after account registration or sign-in with Google or Microsoft and only after direct agreement (section 3). The payment function and the display of prices are located exclusively in the dashboard after authentication (including /dashboard). For persons without an account payment is not provided: no paid contract is offered or concluded, and there is no checkout button. Accordingly, the public pages contain no prices for them. Amounts stated below describe only the dashboard tariff after sign-in and are not a public offer to conclude a paid contract with a person who has no account (Articles 633, 641 and 650 of the Civil Code of Ukraine). Registration or sign-in by itself is not acceptance of these Terms and does not allow the dashboard or payment. The dashboard and payment are available only after direct agreement (the tick) after sign-in. Without it both are refused: no charge is created.

In Ukraine the Provider accepts payment in hryvnia (UAH) in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, including the Law of Ukraine “On Payment Services” and currency rules on settlements in the territory of Ukraine.

Outside Ukraine the Provider accepts payment in foreign currency (euro).

In the English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, French, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Czech and Polish dashboards, prices are shown in foreign currency (euro) and payment is charged in euro. In the Ukrainian-language dashboard, prices are shown in UAH and payment is charged in UAH. Amounts for tariff plans (monthly and yearly) and for a one-time 1-year QR extension appear in the dashboard after sign-in and are not a public price list. A yearly tariff plan is 25% cheaper than twelve monthly payments.

Payment for a tariff plan or a one-time 1-year QR extension is processed by payment service providers (including Monobank and/or bank acquiring) only after sign-in to the dashboard. The Provider never sees or stores your card details — only the payment status and amount.

5. Delivery (performance of the service)

QRcode Global does not deliver physical goods by post, courier or to an address. No tangible medium is supplied. Delivery (performance) of the paid digital service is exclusively electronic, into the user’s dashboard on this website (the dashboard page) after payment is confirmed:

  • a tariff plan — the tariff term in the dashboard is extended by a month or a year immediately;
  • a one-time QR extension — the term of that code is extended by 1 year immediately.

There is no separate shipping address, transit time or shipping fee. The service is deemed delivered (performed) as soon as the result is shown in the dashboard after confirmed payment.

By ticking “I agree” (direct agreement to these Terms), the user agrees to this delivery format and accepts QRcode Global’s services in that form: electronic performance in the dashboard on this website, with no physical goods and no postal or courier delivery.

6. Exchange and refunds

QRcode Global does not sell physical goods. The contract is for a digital service (creating, hosting and redirecting dynamic QR codes; tariff plans; a one-time 1-year extension of a single QR code) under the Civil Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”.

Exchange. Rules on exchanging non-food goods of proper quality (including Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”) do not apply: no tangible item (good) is delivered and no physical medium is supplied.

No refund of money for the product / for a rendered service is provided. Legal grounds:

  • Under Articles 901–907 of the Civil Code of Ukraine (contract for services), the provider must perform the service and the customer must pay for it. A performed service is not a thing and cannot be “returned” as goods.
  • The service is performed immediately after payment is confirmed: the tariff term or the QR code’s term is extended. From that moment the Provider’s obligation is fully performed.
  • Under the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”, the consumer’s right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to contracts for digital content and/or digital services not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and the consumer has acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal once performance starts.
  • The digital service is personalised to a specific account and QR code; after performance it cannot be restored to its original state without losing its use and economic value.

By paying for a tariff plan or a one-time 1-year QR extension, the user:

  • requests that performance of the digital service begin immediately;
  • confirms that they understand and agree that after performance starts they lose the right to withdraw from the contract and to a refund of the amount paid as if returning goods or withdrawing from a distance contract.

A claim that money was charged but the service was not delivered is not a request to return goods. It is treated as notice of possible non-performance and should be sent to business@qrcode.global or in writing to the legal address. Review takes up to 14 calendar days. If payment was accepted and the service was not provided, the Provider will perform the paid service. If performance is objectively impossible, the amount paid is returned as a consequence of non-performance / unjust enrichment (Article 1212 of the Civil Code of Ukraine), not as a “product refund”.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to create QR codes leading to malware, phishing, fraud, spam, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights. The Provider may remove any dynamic QR code that violates these rules without notice.

8. Term and automatic deletion

A free dynamic QR code without an account lasts 20 days. Moving it into the dashboard free of charge adds another 20 days to the time left. A code created in the dashboard is free for 30 days (up to 3 codes without a tariff). While a tariff is paid, tariff codes have no separate term. A one-time extension of a single QR code adds 1 year. When a dashboard timer runs out, the code is not deleted automatically — it stays until the owner pays again. QR codes created without an account, whose stats page was never opened and which were never scanned, may be deleted early (typically within 7 days) to prevent unused data from piling up.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Provider is not responsible for the content of pages your QR code links to, or for third parties’ use of the service, except where mandatory rules of Ukrainian law provide otherwise.

10. Changes to these terms

The current edition of these Terms is dated 20 September 2026. The Provider may update the terms; each new edition has its own date on this page. For an account, a new edition takes effect only after a further direct agreement (tick) in the dashboard. Until then the dashboard and payment remain unavailable. Using the free generator without an account after an update constitutes acceptance of the new edition for the free service unless the law requires otherwise.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are resolved under Ukrainian law, at the Provider’s location, unless a mandatory consumer venue applies.

13. Confidentiality and disclosure of information

13.1. The Provider undertakes not to transfer the User’s personal data or information about the User to third parties, except where Ukrainian law expressly requires it.

13.2. The User gives unconditional agreement that their email address is used automatically to form payment details (the payment purpose) and is passed to the payment system (electronic payment gateway) solely to process the transaction, identify the payment and activate the paid service in the dashboard.
